Does my audience need to download an app?

No. They scan a QR code with their phone camera and a web page opens instantly — no app, no signup, no account.

Does Plyst take a cut of my tips?

No — Plyst never takes a percentage of your tips. Tips go straight to your connected Stripe account.

Are there any processing fees on tips?

Yes. Tips are handled by Stripe, which charges a standard processing fee of roughly 2.9% + 30¢ per tip. As the performer you cover that fee, so your audience is charged exactly the amount they tip and Plyst adds nothing on top.

Can I import my existing songs?

Yes. Plyst imports OnSong and SongbookPro .backup files, so you can bring your whole catalog with you.
